Estonian theatre showcase draamamaa.weekend 2015

A special theatre weekend introducing Estonian theatre to foreign guests called the draamamaa.weekend took place at 6.11-8.11 in Tallinn. The three days in autumn offered the performances and showings of the newest productions by the Theatre NO99, the Von Krahl Theatre, Kanuti Gildi SAAL, the STL, Rakvere Theatre, the VAT Theatre and Kinoteater. All performances will have translation into English. We can cover the travelling and accommodation costs of a limited number of guests.

The draamamaa.weekend is organized as a co-operation between Estonian Theatre Agency, Estonian Ministry of Culture and the participating theatres.

The draamamaa.weekend 2015 was visited by 25 guests from 10 countries representing various festivals, production houses and theatres.  The festival team is grateful to all the participants from Estonian theatres and to the guests from abroad for making it an absolutely great weekend!
